Positive Pick-Me-Up's

If you are anything like me, you can use words of encouragement. While going through this, my sister Alani suggested looking into scriptures that would help me get through the day. If you need some spiritual based pick-me-up’s, this post is for you.

My Scriptures of Self-Worth:

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful, I know that full and well" Psalms 139:14

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" Joshua 1:9

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle, and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight" 1 Peter 3:3-4

"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, there is no flaw in you." Song of Songs 4:7

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11

"God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive their crown of life that God promised those who love them." James 1:12

"So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised." Hebrews 10:35-36
