My Fav "Smoothie Challenge" Recipes

For the month of May, I challenged myself with a #justeatmoreplants smoothie challenge! For 31 days, I tried a completely different smoothie each day. Let me tell you, my smoothie repertoire has expanded! This initiative is to encourage all of you to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet, especially at the start of your day. Some were super lit, and some were so so, but here is a full list of my favs from the challenge.

Smoothie Favs:
Strawberry Banana Mango (add bananas)
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup (substitute powder for cacao nibs and honey for dates)
Blueberry Morning (substitute almond milk for coconut)
Pineapple Banana Spinach (add half cup yogurt)
Beet Carrot Mango (substituted apples for blueberries)
Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl (substituted frozen dragon fruit for acai)
Regardless of what smoothies that you try, don't forget your add-in's which will make or break the taste, the nutrients you're looking for, and how full you'll feel after drinking it. Mix and match some of these add-in's to get the full smoothie experience. I love Whole Food's, but there are least expensive grocery stores where you can get what you need. You can find any of these items in your local grocery store or farmers market. Do your research and read labels to see what benefits each of these add-in's bring.
